About Me

I'm Robbie Poore. I've lived in Cumberland County most of my life, and after moving away for a few years, I came back because this is where I call home. My wife and I are raising our one-year-old son here, and this is where we want to build our future, in the place he'll call home too.

I work at an independent insurance agency in town that has served Crossville for over 40 years. My day-to-day work includes accounting, budgets, carrier contracts, and managing staff, and I work directly with families and business owners across our community.

This work puts me in front of a lot of people who are going through different things in life. It's given me the chance to hear why people love our community and what could make it better. It's also taught me a little about a lot of things. I enjoy helping people and solving the issues they bring to me, and that's the approach I would bring to City Council.

Why I'm Running

I'm running because I care about Crossville's future and want to help shape it.

I want our city to be a place where local businesses can thrive, families want to stay, and our children can see a future for themselves. That means being thoughtful about growth, responsible with public money, and willing to look closely at the decisions ahead of us.

I don't claim to have all the answers. What I bring is a willingness to listen, do my homework, ask questions, and find answers before making a decision. I want people to feel comfortable reaching out and know their concerns will receive serious consideration.

I'd appreciate the opportunity to bring that approach to City Council.
